Today, Thursday 14 September is R U OK Day, our national day of action dedicated to reminding everyone to ask a colleague or mate “are you ok?” and support those struggling with life.

To support R U OK and help start the conversation you can buy a pen, pin or other merchandise from the box at the front counter at Intersect, we will rotate it between Wakefield and Flinders St.

Your donation would be most welcome.

But better still ask the question R U OK?

It’s a conversation that you can ask any day when the time is right and it can really help and could ultimately save a life. Unfortunately in South Australia around 236 people died from suicide last year which was more than double or State road toll at around 86.

More information and resources can be found at:

If someone you know is looking out of sorts try ask R U OK? Even if they don’t want to talk knowing you care matters.

2017 Intersect Footy Tips

The results are in! And congratulations to…

Adam Falkenberg from JH Advisory!

Adam took victory by the closest of margins – 1 – by polling 131 points to United Focus’s Catherine Roach’s 130 points! And Cam Borgas from SA Leaders was not far behind with 127 points.

Big congratulations to Adam, Catherine and Cam, and thank you to everyone who participated. See you in 2018.

The Slowdown Medal

And while we’re in on footy, it would be remiss of us not to mention Andrew Sullivan’s extraordinary 7 goal effort in The Little Heroes Slowdown, which saw him take out the Slowdown Medal. Even better than this was Andrew’s pledge to donate $500 for every goal he kicked to The Little Heroes Foundation. Congratulations Andrew!
