Welcome back to the Intersect Broadcast. We hope 2018 is a very successful year for you and your business and, as always, we look forward to Intersect helping you in whatever way we can.
Welcome to Our New Members
We would like to welcome Abhishek Sharma (MindVision) and John Harvey (Direct Thinking) to the Intersect membership.
Abhishek Sharma email@example.com
Abhishek is the Business Development Manager of Digital Arm at Mindvision, an Adelaide based software development, web design, and digital marketing company. Digital Arm can help with everything from web design, development and branding to SEO and internet marketing, mobile app development, and video animation and production.
John Harvey firstname.lastname@example.org
John is a geneticist by trade and holds a PhD and MBA from the University of Adelaide. After serving as the Executive Director of the Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation (now incorporated into Wine Australia), he moved into the commercial side of the wine industry and developed Bathe Wines, which produces wines out of SA and Tasmania for the on-premise (restaurant) market in Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. John says “Over time I’ve become less of a wine maker that sits on a few boards and more of a Company Director that makes a bit of wine, and my move into Intersect is a reflection of that transition.”
After months of careful planning (and a lot of hard work from the amazing Marg Cairns) it has been wonderful to welcome our Wakefield Street members into the space at Flinders Street. Don’t be a stranger – if there’s a new face at the photocopier make sure you introduce yourself. We will be hosting a Member’s Drinks in the near future to toast one Intersect community – stay tuned for the date.
Please join us for the opening of the next Intersect art exhibition, BLOOM, on Thursday 1st March from 6.00pm to 8.00pm.
BLOOM will profile a selection of watercolour paintings by visiting US artist Karsten Topelmann, who also happens to be the father of Intersect’s art curator Dr Lisa Topelmann-Weder. For more information about Karsten’s work please contact Lisa on 0422 995 177.
Gemtree Wines is a family owned and operated winery in McLaren Vale that is one of only 3% of global wineries that farm biodynamically – no wonder their wines are beautiful (their Obsidian Shiraz is a personal favourite).
Gemtree have put together a corporate focused version of their Small Footprints Wine Club to reflect the differing needs of a business as opposed to an individual. Benefits include 20% off wine purchases, a personalised premium tasting experience for up to 8 guests in their private tasting room, a hosted masterclass tasting event for your clients or staff, access to their gifting program, as well as many others.
For more information please contact James Murray on 0434 499 806 or email@example.com.
If you would like anything included in the Intersect Broadcast, please email Bill Allert at firstname.lastname@example.org by COB of the first Friday of every month. The Intersect Broadcast is sent to all members in the second week of every month.
