A big welcome to Luigi and his team who are now providing our in-house barista service at Wakefield Street and Flinders Street.
Jade and Rin Take Gold
As most of you would already know, Jade and Rin go far beyond being outstanding team members of Intersect. They are also outstanding when it comes to sport aerobics!
They recently took out a combined four golds and two silvers in the FISAF State Championships, and will also be competing at the state finals of Schoolaerobics on the 24th of June with an eye on the National Championships of both competitions in Queensland in late July/early August.
We wish them every ounce of luck (not that they’ll need it).
Please Vote for Intersect!
Just a quick reminder that Intersect has been nominated for Best Coworking Space in the 2017 City Awards. Public voting will determine the finalists and we would love your support! Please click on the following link to vote:
The winners will be announced on Monday July 10th.

Meet the Members
It’s been too long! Please hold the date for our next Meet the Members drinks on Thursday 29th of June. These are informal drinks held at Flinders Street hosted by Intersect that give our newer members an opportunity to introduce themselves. Always well attended, always well enjoyed! Please don’t forget to RSVP to email@example.com by Friday 23rd of June.
Fiddler on the Roof
Fiddler on the Roof is one of the all-time classics of musical theatre, and Anthony Burt’s son Sam will be appearing in The Therry Dramatic Society’s production at the Arts Theatre from the 7th to the 17th of June. For more information please visit www.therry.org.au and bookings can be made on 8410 5515 or www.trybooking.com.
Please Wipe Your Feet!
At the risk of sounding like a parent, can we please ask everyone to make a concerted effort to wipe their feet when they enter through the back door at Flinders Street. Long time members will know the muddy footprints that build up over winter due to the unsealed car park between Wakefield Street and Ifould Street. We greatly appreciate your help in keeping the space as clean and presentable as possible.
Please Use Headphones
One of the great things about the atmosphere at Intersect is the background ambience of conversation and business. However, we have had several requests asking that other members refrain from playing music and radio. If you are streaming content or listening to music or talkback radio, please respect other members and use headphones.
